Cherry Tarts!

Cherry tarts and cheery wontons are light, simple summer treats! Just follow and enjoy this simple recipe.

Cherry Filling:

2 lbs cherries, pittedchery filler

3/4 – 1 cup sugar

1/2 cup water

Stir on medium heat

Thicken with 4 tbsps of flour

Take off heat, add 2 tbsps of soy butter

Cherry Tart Crusts:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees

Use cup to form circle tart shapes out of pre-made refrigerated pie crust (1-2)crust

Grease muffin tins with canola oil (PAM)

Push in your tarts

Chill while oven finishes preheating

Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden

Remove and add spoonful of filling to each


**With extra filling you can take wonton wrappers and fill with a spoonful cherry wontonof filling

Close and bake at 400 degrees for 10-12 minutes

Remove and chill
